As we move to a new phase of coronavirus coverage, the focus will be on rebuilding

Our reporters, editors and visual journalists have worked day and night to bring you coverage of the novel coronavirus pandemic in Washington. Now, months into this unprecedented test on our society, we’re beginning to tell the story of how we rebuild.

We’re launching our new We Rebuild section to do exactly that. We Rebuild will bring together perspectives and solutions for a path to restore our communities post-shutdown.

It will provide essentials like updates on how students can return to classes, explain the complicated like unemployment benefits, showcase how we’re holding our leaders accountable and serve as a resource of what to know as Pierce County and Washington state reopen.
