The pandemic has a lot of people short on money, and free service is always appreciated.

A Seattle-based car wash company wants to show its appreciation to customers by offering just that.

Brown Bear Car Wash, which was founded in the Northwest about 60 years ago, is giving thanks to customers on “Free Car Wash Day,” the company said on its website. The company also calls the event “Customer Appreciation Day.”

“We owe our longevity to our great customers, as we could not have been in business for all of these years without you,” the company’s website said. “As such, each August we hold an annual Customer Appreciation Day a.k.a Free Car Wash Day as a way to say ‘THANK YOU’ to all of our loyal car wash customers by offering a FREE Beary Clean car wash, from 8:00AM to 8:00PM at our Tunnel Car Washes.”
