A Washington pizza joint ranked among the best in the country, according to Yelp.

Moto, a pizza shop in Seattle, ranked No. 98 on Yelp’s “Top 100 Places for Pizza in the U.S.” The list was released on Feb. 8 by the restaurant review website.

To create the list, Yelp ranked businesses in the pizza category on the “total volume and ratings of reviews.”

Moto opened just last year by chef and owner Lee Kindell and Nancy Gambin, according to Seattle Refined. The small take-out spot serves Detroit-style pizza in the West Seattle neighborhood.

“The crust is baked crunchy and cheesy, the pie is thick and light at the same time and the toppings are perfection,” one Yelp reviewer wrote.

Moto was the only Washington pizza eatery to make Yelp’s most recent list.

To grab a slice from this “hidden gem,” customers are encouraged to order online. The wait can take a few months, according to Yelp reviewers. But the wait is worth it, many reviewers wrote.

“Delicious! We waited three months for our order and it was worth every minute,” another reviewer said.

Customers can try snagging a pizza without an order in advance by showing up to the shop when they open at 4 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, according to Moto’s website.

Reviewers raved about the Crab Pizza, which pairs Dungeness crab, thyme, dill and lemon with a blend of cheeses.

The Mr Pig was also highly recommended by reviewers. It’s topped with a blend of cheeses, Filipino pork belly, spicy pork sausage, caramelized onion and a trio of sauces including calamansi lime, Mr. Pig and tomato.

According to Yelp, the overall top-ranked shop was Cheese Board Pizza in Berkeley, California.
