A lucky lottery player ended up with the “perfect birthday gift” after realizing she had a winning ticket in Washington, officials said.

She scored $150,000.

The woman from Arlington bought two HIT 5 tickets the day before her birthday, Washington’s Lottery said in a Nov. 20 news release.

She selected her numbers randomly using the QuickPick option, lottery officials said.

The next day, according to officials, she checked her tickets after celebrating her birthday and saw she had won the game’s cashpot prize.

To win the cashpot, a player has to match five numbers between 1 and 42. HIT 5 costs $1 to play.

Officials said she then called her friend and asked her out for lunch to celebrate.

She plans to use the money to pay off bills and to spoil her dog, Beau, lottery officials said.

Arlington is about 50 miles north of Seattle.
