An “impaired” wife pulled up as her husband was getting arrested on DUI charges in Washington, police said.

Both were then arrested on the same charge within 30 minutes of each other on March 2 in downtown Spokane, the city police department said in a Facebook post.

The 33-year-old man was seen speeding and nearly turning the wrong way onto a one-way road, police said, so he was pulled over at about 12:10 a.m.

He was then arrested on driving under the influence charges, police said.

His 27-year-old wife pulled up at about 12:40 a.m., got out of her vehicle and approached officers, police said.

That’s when police said she seemed “impaired.” She was also arrested on a DUI charge after police said they developed probable cause.

“Driving under the influence is a serious crime and takes a significant toll on both life and property every year,” police said in the post.
