Man sexually abuses woman responding to Craigslist ad for job, Oregon cops say
CORRECTION: This story has been updated to correct where the incident took place.
A 55-year-old man was arrested after being accused of sexually abusing a woman responding to a job advertisement he posted on Craigslist, Oregon officials said.
On March 15, a woman reported that she’d responded to an ad for a housekeeper posted by Jimmy Jen Liu, 55, according to a Facebook post from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
When she got to Liu’s home in Aloha, he grabbed her “bare feet” and started “rubbing them on his face,” authorities said.
The woman left his home and called police, the sheriff’s office said.
Detectives learned a similar incident happened to another woman responding to a job ad in February, deputies said.
Liu was arrested at his home and booked into Washington County Jail on charges of sexual abuse and harassment, officials said.
On March 18, attempted sexual abuse and attempted harassment charges were added, deputies.
Officers learned of Liu’s social media presence and said he’s been seeking a housekeeper since 2017.
Liu has also put out ads saying he will tutor kids in math, deputies said.
Investigators believe there may be more victims and ask anyone with information to call 503-629-0111.
Aloha is about a 10-mile drive southwest from Portland.
