Teens climbed up massive rock formations at night, then one fell 20 feet, Washington rescuers said.

Firefighters got a call after midnight on May 18 about the teens needing help at the Rocks of Sharon, the Spokane Valley Fire Department said in a Facebook post.

One of the teens fell and injured their leg while the other three teens were stranded on a cliff about 75 feet up, fire officials said.

Rescuers found the injured teen about 50 feet up on the rocks.

It took rescue teams about an hour and a half to lower all four teens from the massive rock formations, firefighters said.

The injured teen was taken to a hospital while rescuers waited with the other teens until their parents arrived.

The Rocks of Sharon are about a 15-mile drive southeast from downtown Spokane.

It’s a popular area for hiking and rock climbing.
