A Powerball ticket sold in Western Washington missed the jackpot but still won big, according to lottery officials.
The Powerball player won $50,000 by matching four white balls and the red Powerball in the drawing on Monday, Dec. 31, according to a spokesperson for Washington’s Lottery and the national Powerball website.
