Gambler’s ‘lucky spin’ leads to big payout at Western Washington casino

A “lucky spin” turned into a big win for one gambler at a Western Washington casino, officials said.

The slot machine player scored more than $50,000 at Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel in Snoqualmie, casino officials wrote in a Facebook post on Sunday, April 12.

The gambler placed a $40 bet in the Island Rising slot machine, resulting in a “massive” payout of $53,441, according to the casino.

Social media users shared in the celebration.

“Wow, fantastic,” Facebook user Dave Fyler wrote in a comment. “Congratulations.”

It was the second big win at Snoqualmie Casino in less than a month.

A gambler won $154,812 after betting $30 at the Triple Fortune Dragon Unleashed slot machine, casino officials wrote in a March 21, Facebook post, calling it “another huge win.”

What is Snoqualmie Casino near Tacoma?

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel, 37500 SE North Bend Way in Snoqualmie, said it offers more than 1,800 “cutting-edge slot machines, an expansive non-smoking gaming floor, and 58 timeless table games, including blackjack, roulette and baccarat.”

The King County casino is about a 45-minute car ride from Tacoma.

It takes more than an hour to drive to Snoqualmie from Olympia.
