A little midweek magic is headed to the Wenatchee Valley College campus.
The Piatigorsky Foundation's spring concert is set for April 22, offering an evening of world-class music at no cost to attend.
"We are always excited to welcome the world-class musicians from the Piatigorsky Foundation on our campus," WVC Foundation Executive Director Clint Strand said in a press release.
The free concert begins at 6:30 p.m. in The Grove Recital Hall at the college's Music and Art Center and will feature pianist Molly Morkoski and clarinetist Igor Begelman, both seasoned performers with international résumés and major-stage credentials, according to the release.
A wine reception begins at 5:30 p.m. Seating is first-come, first-served. Parking is free.
Backed by the Woods family, the concert promises a relaxed, up-close experience with musicians more often heard in larger cities - a rare treat for a Wednesday night in Wenatchee.
