Jordan D. Toland, 28, was headed north in an Isuzu NPR truck near Woodland when the vehicle uncontrollably slid on the wet road, crossed all lanes, hit the median and landed on its side, according to a Washington State Patrol press memo.

Toland's passenger, Joseph C. Bangs, 35, of Castle Rock, was injured and sent to Vancouver's PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.

Troopers cited Toland, who was not injured, for speeding too fast for conditions, which the memo states caused the accident.

It is not clear yet if drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash, the memo states.
