3-vehicle wreck on Ocean Beach Highway sends 1 to hospital
Authorities say two vans stopped due to a stalled vehicle were hit Thursday afternoon on Ocean Beach Highway near the intersection of Coal Creek Road.

A passenger in one of the vans was injured, according to a Washington State Patrol press memo.
Zowie P. Carmody, 22, of Longview was headed west around 2:21 p.m. in a 2016 Honda Civic near the Heron Point mobile home park when troopers say she hit the 2012 Honda Odyssey van in front of her that was stopped at Coal Creek Road due to a stalled vehicle while the light was green.
The Odyssey then hit the vehicle in front of it, a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan van.
Dodge passenger Stephanie R. Jones, 46, of Kelso was injured and transported to Longview's PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center.
Neither the Dodge driver - Daniel J. Jones, 50, or Castle Rock - nor the other passenger - Karen S. Jones, 83, of Kelso - were injured, the memo states.
Neither the Odyssey driver - Robert A. Sudar, 73, of Longview - or passenger Samuel R. Sudar, 40, of Longview - were injured either.
The memo states following too closely caused the accident and neither drugs nor alcohol were involved.
