A Powerball player in Western Washington fell short of the jackpot but still scored a six-figure prize, according to lottery officials.
The Powerball player matched four white balls and the red Powerball in the drawing on Saturday, April 18, according to Washington’s Lottery and the national Powerball website.
The lucky lottery player initially won $50,000.
The player added a Power Play multiplier that increased the prize to $250,000, a Washington’s Lottery spokesperson said.

Where was lucky Powerball ticket sold in Washington?
The winning Powerball ticket was purchased at a Safeway grocery store at 4831 Northwest Point Fosdick Drive in Gig Harbor, according to the Washington’s Lottery spokesperson.
It takes roughly 20 minutes to drive from Tacoma to Gig Harbor.
What were winning Powerball numbers?
The winning numbers in Saturday’s Powerball drawing were 24, 25 39, 46 and 61 with a Powerball of 1, according to the national Powerball website.
