Man killed in Saturday shooting in east Vancouver identified
Authorities have identified the 20-year-old man who died after a Saturday morning shooting in east Vancouver as Guerlin P. Caetano of Tacoma.
Caetano died from complications related to a gunshot wound to the head, according to a Wednesday news release from the Clark County Medical Examiner's Office.
Vancouver police officers responded about 2:20 a.m. Saturday to reports of a shooting in a parking lot in the 11800 block of Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard. Caetano was taken to a local hospital for treatment but died Sunday.
The shooter fled the scene and has not been located. The Vancouver Police Department Major Crimes Team is investigating.
