The Camas School District has selected Ryan Scott as the next principal of Lacamas Lake Elementary, pending approval by the school board. Scott will assume the role following the retirement of longtime principal Julie Mueller.

Scott currently serves as associate principal in the district, supporting both Helen Baller Elementary and Woodburn Elementary. He has also worked at Dorothy Fox Elementary and Grass Valley Elementary, building strong connections with students, staff, and families across the Camas community.

Scott's background as a teacher, counselor, and administrator reflects a consistent focus on supporting the whole child and building environments where both students and staff can thrive. His leadership emphasizes listening, collaboration, and creating clear, consistent, and responsive systems that meet student needs.

United Grain announced its Chief Executive Officer, Augusto Bassanini, has been named Chairman of the Board of the North American Export Grain Association, NAEGA, a leading trade association representing companies involved in the export of U.S. and Canadian grain and oilseeds.

As Board Chairman, Augusto will work with the association's leadership and members to support commercial agricultural exports, in North America, a sector that represents approximately $201 billion in annual exports alone.

The business leaders group Identity Clark County has elected Katie Henry to its board of directors.

Henry is the recently appointed CEO of Vancouver Clinic bringing more than two decades of experience in patient-centered health care management. She previously was Chief Administrative Officer for Austin Regional Clinic in Texas where she oversaw 13 capital projects and a 50 percent increase in patients, and was an practicing attorney in Winston-Salem, N.C. She has a juris doctorate degree from Wake Forest University and a degree in sociology from Miami University, Ohio. She serves on the executive committee of the American Medical Group Association.
