Firefighting crews from multiple agencies responded to a house fire at about 1:43 p.m. in the 200 block of Eufaula Heights Road, according to a Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue press release.

When crews arrived at the scene, they saw that about half of the single-wide mobile home was on fire, but everyone inside the home was already out.

The single occupant was offered shelter and other assistance from the American Red Cross, but declined the help.

Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue, Longview Fire Department, Cowlitz County Fire District 6 out of Castle Rock, and Wahkiakum Fire District 4 responded to the blaze.

Crews used multiple hose lines and had the fire under control by 2:31 p.m., but it wasn't until 4:19 p.m. that the fire was fully extinguished, Cowlitz 2 reports.
