2 trapped in truck after rollover Ocean Beach Highway wreck
Authorities say alcohol could have been a factor in a crash that trapped two people in a flipped truck early Thursday on Ocean Beach Highway in Longview.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Crews were sent at about 2 a.m. to 4013 Ocean Beach Hwy. regarding a rollover crash, according to a Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue press release.
The location is near the Ocean Beach Animal Hospital.
Police confirmed two people were trapped in a flipped truck, while the two in the other vehicle were able to leave their car, which was resting on its side, the notice states.
Longview police report in a separate notice that the two vehicles collided head-on after speeding.
Crash

Firefighters from Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue and the Longview Fire Department used hydraulic tools to remove the pair from the truck.
They were sent to PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center, while the people from the car were evaluated by on-scene paramedics, then also transported.
Longview police report the "scene was especially chaotic," but responders worked together to ensure safety.
The LifeFlight Network was also on standby at PeaceHealth St. John's Medical Center, Cowlitz 2 reports.
Two fire engines, three ambulances, two chief officers, and police officers from the Longview Police Department, Washington State Patrol, and Kelso Police Department also responded to the crash.
