Hurricanes beat Nooksack Valley in baseball game
EVERSON - The Mount Vernon Christian high school baseball team beat Nooksack Valley 4-2 on Saturday in a nonleague game.
The Hurricanes' Bennett Davis was 2-for-3 with an RBI, and Josh Feddema 2-for-4.
Mount Vernon Christian pitcher Chase Woodmansee pitched five innings, allowing no runs and two walks while striking out five.
The Hurricanes are 17-3.
