Raymond man dies following collision on state Route 6
A Raymond man died following a May 22 crash on state Route 6, the Washington State Patrol (WSP) announced Saturday.
Paul E. Conder, 76, died at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. Hospital staff have since notified next of kin.
The single-vehicle collision occurred east of Frances.
According to WSP, Conder was driving a 1995 Mazda B2300 pickup truck eastbound near milepost 19 at about 4:25 p.m. May 22 when his truck left the roadway and landed in the eastbound ditch.
Troopers reportedly could not determine whether Conder was wearing a seat belt.
Following the incident, WSP said it was unknown whether drugs or alcohol had been involved.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
