Lewis County transfer stations to close for Juneteenth holiday

Lewis County transfer stations in Centralia and Morton will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday.

They will return to regular hours on Saturday, June 20, a news release from the Lewis County Department of Public Works stated.

Regular hours at the Centralia site, located at 1411 S. Tower Ave., are Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. At the Morton site, located at 6745 U.S. Highway 12, hours are Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The holiday closure includes the Lewis County Solid Waste Administration Office at the transfer station in Centralia. It will reopen on Monday, June 22, at 8 a.m.
