Fibre Federal donates about $3K to Longview humane society

Fibre Federal Credit Union recently donated $3,175 to the Humane Society for Southwest Washington's Longview campus through a campaign tied to its youth savings accounts.

For every savings account opened by someone 18 or younger, Fibre Federal donates $5 to the humane society, according to a company press release.

Since 2017, $43,321 has been donated to animal shelters in Cowlitz, Columbia, Clatsop, Lincoln and Tillamook counties, including $28,168 specifically to Longview's humane society.

Youth savings accounts include Fibre Cash Club and Student Savings accounts.
