Lower Columbia School Gardens has weekly Community Days scheduled at 18 school gardens through August.
The Coweeman Middle School garden in Kelso is closed for construction.

Visitors are welcome to explore the gardens, harvest food to take home and help with garden tasks.

Earth Day
Keegan Esch, 5, left, and his mom Kiara Cabral, of Kelso, help build a nest on Saturday, April 25, as part of the Lower Columbia School Gardens Earth Day event. Once complete, kids can use the nest as a place to read, according to nonprofit staff.
