Tim Dickey named Touchet superintendent

Tim Dickey has been selected as Touchet School District's next superintendent and will replace retiring Superintendent Robert Elizondo.

Dickey is a graduate of Touchet High School who currently works as an instructional coach at Liberty Elementary School District in Arizona. He has also served as a principal, assistant principal, dean of students and classroom teacher in Arizona.

Touchet School Board announced its decision to hire Dickey on Wednesday, June 17, in a news release.

"Tim brings with him ten years of administrative leadership with a background in instructional leadership, relationship building and student advocacy," the release said. "His commitment to continuous growth and community engagement will be an asset to our Touchet community."

Dickey will start the position as superintendent and principal of Touchet School on Wednesday, July 1.
