The sky gods have a gift for South Sound residents. Hint: It’s not warm, long days of sun

The weather gods are gifting Tacoma residents with rain once again, according to the National Weather Service.

There’s a 30 percent chance of rain after 10 p.m. Monday. The temperature is expected dip around 38 degrees with a breeze from the southeast moving between 3 to 6 miles per hour.

Tuesday also has a 30 percent chance of rain. The clouds are expected to blanket the city with temperatures reaching about 45 degrees. There is a 50 percent chance of rain sometime before 4 a.m.

After 10 a.m. Wednesday, there’s a 20 percent chance of rain, but the sun might peek through the clouds just a bit. Temperatures may reach about 46 degrees. Come nightfall, rain is expected to shower upon us.

It will rain all day and night Thursday and likely Friday morning also. The clouds will blanket the city once again — with a chance of rain — from Friday night until Sunday.
