Tuesday morning commuters should be prepared for snow, National Weather Service says

Motorists should be prepared for a snowy commute Tuesday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle. The flakes should fall between 6 and 9 a.m. in Tacoma and Pierce County.

Snow is also in the forecast late Monday. Accumulations of less than one inch for both days will be spotty and dependent on local temperatures and elevation, the NWS said.

The skies will dry out on Wednesday but temperatures will drop with an overnight low in Tacoma of 29.

Then, the threat of a snow/rain mix returns Thursday and lasts into Monday, March 6, according to the NWS.
