Dust storm warning active for Grant County early Sunday evening

The NWS Spokane WA released a dust storm warning at 2:26 p.m. on Sunday in effect until 4:30 p.m. for Grant County.

"At 2:23 p.m., a dust channel was 15 miles west-southwest of Moses Lake blowing northeast across Interstate 90," explains the NWS. "This includes Interstate 90 in Washington between mile markers 152 and 173. This dust channel will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Grant County including Interstate 90 between George and Moses Lake."

"Dangerous life-threatening travel," adds the NWS.

This warning is in effect until 4:30 p.m.
