On Monday at 5:08 p.m. the NWS Pendleton OR released an updated special weather statement until 7 p.m. for Kittitas Valley.
"Northwest winds of 25-35 mph accompanied by gusts of 35-45 mph are expected to continue through the early evening hours in the Kittitas Valley. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Use extra caution," states the NWS.
This alert is in effect until 7 p.m.
