Freeze warning for Blue Mountains until Friday morning - temperatures falling to 28

At 10:33 a.m. on Thursday, the NWS Pendleton OR released a freeze warning valid from 11 p.m. until Friday 9 a.m. for Foothills of the Blue Mountains of Washington.

The NWS informs, "Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 degrees expected."

"Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing," adds the NWS. "Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold."

This warning is in effect until Friday at 9 a.m.
