Fire weather watch for Western Washington for Thursday - increased fire danger

A fire weather watch was released by the NWS Seattle WA on Tuesday at 3:29 p.m. valid for Thursday between 1 a.m. and 11 p.m. The watch is for West Portion of the Olympic Mountains, West Slopes of the North Cascades Generally above 1500 Feet, West Slopes of the Central Cascades Generally above 1500 Feet and East Portion of the Olympic Mountains.
"The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a Fire Weather Watch for lightning and gusty outflow winds, for late Wednesday night through Thursday evening," says the NWS.
This watch is in effect until Thursday at 11 p.m.
According to the NWS, a fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
