Election: Wise voters should do their own research

Re: “We endorse Zeiger, Stambaugh and Chatterton in 25th Legislative District,” (TNT, 9/7).

I would encourage all voters in the 25th to do their own research regarding these candidates. It is easy on your smart phone, tablet or computer. Look at their records; you can find them at www.ballotpedia.org or at their web sites.

Check out their views on subjects that affect you. We have a homeless problem and traffic is getting to be a real issue; how do you feel about “squatters” that move into the empty foreclosed homes here? How about the impact of property taxes and funding of schools?

Be an informed voter and look for experience and new ideas. I do not agree with the endorsements done by the TNT and personally see no reason for them to put forth their editorial opinion, but they have, so I will encourage all voters to do their own research.
