Flag: A little reading might change athletes' minds

NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick and all athletes who join him in dishonoring our flag should read the book “Man Without a Country” by Edward Everett Hale.

If not for the sacrifice of servicemen and women in preserving our freedom, and of the police and firemen who lost their lives on 9/11, Kaepernick and his cohorts would not have been given the freedom to espouse their course of action.
