Legislature: Kochmar deserves another House term

I am supporting Republican Linda Kochmar for 30th District state representative. She has consistently supported our young people’s education, striving to fund education first. Unlike the other side of the aisle, she votes yes for education funding.

I have worked with Kochmar on funding local levies and bond initiatives for the Federal Way Public Schools since 2001. She has always supported teachers and students -- first on the City Council, then as mayor, and now the state Legislature.

As a citizen lobbyist for education funding and as a retired teacher, I have worked many long hours trying to convince legislators to vote yes for public education funding. I just cannot understand why our state teacher’s union continually supports candidates who have put us in this quagmire for the past 30 years.

If you want to see our schools improve, re-elect Linda Kochmar.
