Anthem: America is a beautiful mosaic, so honor her

I was asked the meaning of “E Pluribus Unum,” and as an example, I said: Many votes, one president; many states, one country.

President Jimmy Carter said it best that America is a beautiful mosaic of different cultures. From one who experienced Latino prejudice in the Lower Yakima Valley, take it from me: Black lives do matter. If only more people saw America as a beautiful mosaic.

I stand for the anthem.
