Click: Now is the time to wean it off city support
As a business leader and a Click subscriber, I am deeply concerned about proposals that include illegal ratepayer subsidies to offset current and future Click losses.
While access to low-cost internet/cable is important, it pales in comparison to other community concerns, including a growing homeless population and mental health crisis.
The one thing all parties agree upon is that Click will continue to lose money. Let’s stop the bleeding and find a private partner to take on the risk so our leaders can get laser-focused on the issues that really matter to our community.
