Trump: Small government Republicans shouldn't vote for him
For years, Republican candidates have called for smaller, more limited government, but they have never truly shrunken the size and power of the federal government. They are no better that any Democrat and, in fact, have devolved our political system to a one-party Big Government Party, with Democrat and Republican wings.
For those Republicans who realize Donald Trump as the disaster he is, it’s time to consider voting for a party that really means to make the federal government smaller and less intrusive. That would be the Libertarian Party, whose candidates are Gary Johnson and William Weld.
Since their votes will have no impact on preventing the Clinton victory in Washington, it’s time for Washington Republicans to send a message to extremists in their party and vote Libertarian. The only votes that are wasted are the ones not cast.
