Honesty in opinion: Election: Don't be blind to Clinton's dishonesty

Re: “Trump sniffs at idea of truth-telling” (Letter, TNT, 9/29).

Writers have been discussing Trump’s dishonesty and how important honesty is in a presidential selection; therefore, they are voting for Secretary Clinton.

There are reasons for voting for Clinton over Trump, but honesty would not be one of them. The FBI, headed by a Democratic appointee, has documented a series of lies by Clinton over a long period of time, emails deleted while knowing they were under subpoena. There is the Ambassador video lie. None of these represent honesty.

The bottom line is vote for whomever you want, but if honesty is your key reason, be honest enough to admit that your candidate is no more honest than the other one.
