Election: We need Shelly Speir on the Superior Court bench
As a lawyer, I want a judge on the bench who is smart, who will be fair to all parties, and who has experience in the court and county where I live and practice law. I know Shelly Speir, and she has all of those qualities. Shelly has tried cases in Pierce County Superior Court for over 18 years, so she has the experience we need and the local perspective that is so important in a judge.
It’s easy to overlook the “judge races” on the lengthy ballot we will all have this November, but few elected officials affect our day to day lives like our Superior Court Judges. They make critical decisions every day, and we need someone with the intellect, compassion and broad community support that Speir has.
Fifteen current and former judges have endorsed Speir, over 200 lawyers on all sides of the courtroom have endorsed her, and she is strongly supported by Labor. Her list of endorsements is impressive, and Speir has also been named one of the “Top attorneys in Washington”.
Experience matters. Vote for integrity, fairness, thoughtful reasoning, and knowledge of the law - vote for Shelly Speir, Superior Court, Position 5.
