Election: Think of highest power when you vote

Re: “Local GOP leaders face Trump dilemma” (TNT, 10/13).

In a voting year such as this, where we have been left with two candidates who should never be president, and yet we must still choose; what really is the dilemma?

What social lead do we follow? The true dilemma comes in voting for the issues of the day, verses the day I stand before God and give an account of how I voted. Did I vote for or against the issues he holds me accountable for? Do I vote for a party platform that insists his created children can be legally murdered even after birth?

I know first hand what this issue does to the person making those “choices” for herself; what she chooses lives with her all her life.

Sexual assault of any kind is wrong; but ask yourself this, “What does God expect of me?” Then, read the platforms of all parties, then decide how you will vote to reflect what your response will be to God on that day.

Some issues stand so far above others and count not just for a 4 year term but for all eternity. Your life is shorter than you think, be sure you are pleasing the right person
