Library: Plans for McCarver branch defy logic

Re: “After-hours McCarver library takes a baby step,” (TNT, 10/22).

So the new McCarver Elementary School library is now going to be a quasi branch of Tacoma Public Library as well as a performance space and the “front porch of the school” - all for $50,000.

That will hardly cover added security, custodians, utilities and replacing lost materials. Good luck with that.
