County executive: Talbert is my choice to lead
Since moving here in 1989, I can attest to Rick Talbert being the best Pierce County Council member I’ve had for my district.
If it weren’t for him, downtown historic Midland wouldn’t be the awesome little business district it now is. He helped our revitalization effort by helping us get public parking, monument signage, re-paving, and, hard as it was, helped to bring numerous problems in the community to proper resolutions -- and more.
The many years Talbert has worked in local government, in various departments/jurisdictions, has turned him into a superhero of sorts by packing his brain with the knowledge it takes to get great stuff done.
He would be an equally outstanding county executive, for his character drives him to think of constituents first, rather than lobbyists and insiders. He’s proven this time and again.
I urge voters the elect the man who has dedicated his entire adult life to serving Pierce County residents.
