Senate: Murray doesn’t deserve another term
Senate: Murray doesn’t deserve another term
“Seniority earns Murray six more years in U.S. Senate,” ((TNT endorsement, 10/11).
It is beyond me what basis the editors had for making this decision. Sen. Patty Murray had a golden opportunity in 2011 when appointed co-chair of the special committee to reduce the national debt. I believe that if she had any leadership ability that committee would have come up with a plan rather than the abject failure that it did.
I no longer try to send her emails or letters. If an answer is received, it will be months later and the subject will bear absolutely no resemblance to my original query.
To me, Murray has no concept of what is good for the nation. Whatever issue she takes up must, in her mind, be based on the number of votes it will garner in the next election, not what is best for the nation and state.
