Abortion: Unborn children are today's slaves

I find a startling parallel between abortion and slavery. Slave owners in early America had the right to choose to treat their slaves however they wished, even selling or killing them. Slaves had no rights and were considered less than human.

With abortion, a woman has the right to choose to kill her unborn child or carry it to term. As Hillary Clinton correctly noted in the final presidential debate (without apparent remorse), the unborn child has no rights.

I believe that abortion, like slavery, is a dark chapter in our country’s history. Unborn children are fully human and should be protected.
