Election: Say goodbye to America's liberal elites

This election was not about the end of America, or the end of democracy, but the end of neo-liberal elitism.

Hillary Clinton lost because: (1) she spoke in contrived politically correct platitudes instead of the honest impulses of the human heart; (2) she promised to care for the poor and oppressed while serving Wall Street bankers, Saudi oil barons and arms merchants; (3) she used public office to amass private wealth.

Democrats need to stop blaming their loss on fascists, racists, sexists, Russians and “the vast right wing conspiracy.” They need to look into their own hearts and ask: Why didn’t we have the wisdom to choose a candidate who could relate to ordinary people?
