Election: Lady Liberty weeps for us all

The Statute of Liberty wept quietly Wednesday morning, the tears falling on her feet and spilling onto the sacred ground she stands on.

But America, in all her greatness, will survive the election and move on, hopefully as a unified nation.

I am in my late seventies and do not have many more elections to participate in. I hope I never have to witness the likes of this last one.
