Marijuana: Trump election completely unrelated

Re: “Legal weed feels sort of like a bummer, man,” (TNT, 11/30).

Dave Bry’s commentary starts out: “Quietly and obfuscated by the stunning stupidity of our electing Donald Trump president...”. If the TNT Editorial Board has the ability to edit and republish letters in any format, then you should have the same ability and/or right to do the same with any op-ed published by any source outside your domain, I would hope.

Printing this brief, leading statement that Trump’s election as president has even an iota of relevance to four states’ approval of marijuana only fuels the fires of the protests against his election.

The people have spoken. Please get over the Democrat vs Republican innuendos that seem to be dominant on your editorial page and report opinion that is germane to the benefit of local and national readers.
