Are Washington state’s two U.S. senators in the pockets of Big Pharma?

Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell both voted against a Democratic amendment sponsored by Sen. Bernie Sanders to decrease drug prices by allowing people to purchase them from Canada.

Twelve GOP senators voted for it, but 13 Democrats voted against. I’d like an explanation, wouldn’t you?
