Distracted driving: TV news crews get away with it
I was just watching KIRO morning news and saw traffic reporter Tracy Taylor reporting on traffic while driving on the freeways.
Now explain to me what is distracted driving? Police are told to crack down on drinking your morning coffee, tuning your radio, answering your phone and some other no-nos – but reporting traffic news while driving on camera is OK? Really?
Come on, KIRO, are news ratings really that important?
