Skin cancer: Don't be lax and get burned, like me
“Seeing red over school sunscreen ban,” (TNT editorial, 4/21).
Such a true editorial. I was a teen many years ago and got a sunburn. I was told that I had Stage 4 melanoma five years ago.
After much surgery, chemotherapy and radiation that left me with no rotator in my left arm, I am cancer free. I am in my 80s now, but must get my checkup yearly.
Yes, people of all ages must use sunscreen, and it must by allowed at schools.
