Trump: Egotism not in country's best interest

I am alarmed at the manner in which President Donald Trump is displaying narcissism and self-proclaimed greatness. From the beginning of his publicly announced desire for political power, I have become increasingly aware of the danger he is capable of accomplishing through his apparent disregard for anyone or anything other than himself.

Such inordinate egotism is not in the best interest or spirit of our country and has an unfortunate quality of contagion.

I believe a majority of Americans are aware of this danger. It is incumbent that we urge our senators and representatives to work together to prevent a further decline into unethical and irresponsible use of presidential power.

It is also imperative that we encourage concern and action on behalf of others as well as self. This, too, is contagious and in the best interest of our country.
