Trump: Mental state makes him unfit for office

Re: “The manic meltdown of a presidency in 3 parts,” (TNT, 5/19).

Charles Krauthammer’s column decries using the 25th Amendment to get the system-chosen president out of office as a gratuitous action.

More than 50,000 mental health professionals have signed a petition stating that President Trump presents a clear harm to the public. In so doing they have abandoned a rule that they imposed on themselves in the mid 1960s, because they felt an overwhelming “duty to warn.”

Every day, in some cases every hour, it becomes clear that this person is in fact harming our country and endangering our welfare. We have become a joke in the international community. As soon as he opened his mouth about Mexico, Republicans should have denied him an audience.

Get him out asap and perhaps we can gain back some of our integrity.
